Hey Suzanne- Thanks so much for you comment- I think the stress of my mom & her situation does make Jr's OCD worse - I know that the stress of being my mom's care taker & ME myself being ADD does tend to make things worse & none of that stress is going to go away until my mom moves out of her house and gets her self a 2 bed room 1 bath trailor out towards where Jr & I live. Fact of the matter is Jr's family is incedibly disfunctional and none of them understand his OCD- I'm the only one who really gets Jr mentally - I"m the one who saw the OCD , none of his family members really understand his brain the way I do. Fact is I love Jr very much and I could never imagine my life without Jr , even tho his OCD gets to be too much @ times, but when Jr & I are by our selves and it's just us , the OCD isn't there. Now I know if the state of NC had mental health services and Jr could find himself a good mental health Dr who could give him the proper medication for his OCD I do think it would help Jr emensely - fact of the matter is the mental health services that we do have here in NC need major improvements. Truth be told Jr him self has dealt with alot of battles in his life time- he struggled with a horrible crac/ cocaine addiction for many yrs , and he finally won his battle , so if he can defeat that horrible monster, then he can beat the OCD , instead of letting the OCD beat him .
