I dont use the word lightly
for it means so much to me
it means a person being there
though they dident have to be

it means a little smile
that brightened up my way
it means a smoother path
as I rush through my day

it means one more hug to count on
one more shoulder when I cry
it means one more cherished thought
one more laugh , one my sigh

picking dasies

there are kings ,and queens , and princes
princesses and nobles to spare
people known for their smile
or the way they style their hair
their are people known for their cooking
people with pizzaz and with flair
people known for their goodness
for showing the world that they care
their are painters, sculptures , and doers
people that work by the hand
makeing the things people cherish
things we pay for and demand
their are thinkers known for their thoughts
authors known for a play
people i heard of yesterday
but simply can find today
but i wish the world to know
people come and go they were and may be
but in the sight of our Father
none are greater then me
for we are all His children
He loves us all the same

i could get one of those pictures
that glitters and shines
but that dosent make you more
of a friend of mine.
i could probably stand up in frount of the world, stand there unwavering with my flag unfurled.
but those things dont matter
not one little bit,
you want to know what dose? i'll give you a tip. you do my friend , you matter to me .

say hello to the friends
that ive never met
but it dosent matter
that i cannot see
