I mostly obsess and have intrusive,disturbing thoughts. I sometimes resort to excessive handwashing as a compulsive behavior, depending on what I'm doing. My disturbing thoughts are hard to challenge, and a lot of the time, I just end up challenging the "challenge thoughts" that my therapist has me working on. I am trying to manage my OCD with both a very low dose of zoloft (I don't like taking meds) and cognitive behavioral therapy. Some days are better than others, but most days are a challenge. I begin college at Sonoma State in the fall.
