Im 23, lived in maine all my life. Met my gf at college (she was my R.A. at the time) somehow we've been together for about 4 years now through all of this stuff. I have a great family and tons of friends for support...they rock. I'm a dad now, my son is 2 months old, his name is Miles James Tavares. Hes a happy healthy little boy, tall n skinny in the 90th percentile for his hight and 50th for everything else, good lookin kid. I believe humor is the key to a happyness, and the meaning of life is happyness..so get laughing. I was headed down the wrong path with my thoughts and behavior and I couldn't quite figure out why, it put me on this search for truth which lead me to OCD. Now that I know that I have an anxiety disorder and how it works I'm not scared of anything. I wake up every day dispite what horrifying nightmares may have plagued my mind the night before with a Bring it on kind of attitude. "there is nothing to fear but fear it's self". in our case this is important, fear is supposed to protect your life not ruin it. I spend every day building my skills for maintaining a healthy mindset and thinking about how I can possibly aid others with the knowledge that I gain. I am a very open person so if anything is on anybody's mind send it my way and I'll try to lend what words of wisdom i can offer. Life is good!

Music, cooking, psychology, my kid, life, feeling good, my dog lola, laughing at silly OCD thoughts, boobs (lol sorry), chai tea, chillin in my bathrobe, video games (if nebody plays xbox 360 live hit me up), and I love all things creative and inspiring.

OCD-induced crazytime. dickheads, soap operas, falling down stairs, breaking guitar strings, sub zero temperatures, forgetting to pay my bills, rufies, breaking my bosses equipment,

Hey - Welcome to the OCD tribe! I have been here since Dec. 29 and it is good/has a lot of features; I am still trying to figure out how it supposedly has 8000-something members - cause it seems like there are only 19-21 on at any one time - and mostly I see the same people, which is good so you have more of a chance to get to know them. Maybe 8000-something have EVER logged on - even if it was for ONCE - and never came back on again - OR the website is exaggerating! Hope it helps you and vice-versa!!G
