Looking back I think my OCD began when I was 15/16 and started out as having to put books in a certain height order. It was around this time that I ran away from home so maybe that somehow triggered it but one of my sisters has OCD and my father does too (though I doubt he'd ever admit it) so perhaps I was fated to have it. After almost two decades of suffering with OCD and depression I've finally decided to do something about it and I'm smacking myself upside the head for not doing so long ago.

My wife is amazing.... she has been incredibly supportive and wasn't angry that I didn't fully talk about my OCD until a few months ago.... that's something I feel terrible about because my OCD and the mood swings that come with it have had a negative effect on our relationship at times and it was unfair of me to not be open with her. But with her support, my three cats, and getting treatment I'm really excited about the future.

Doctor Who, Firefly, Farscape, Lost in Space and most sci-fi..... ancient and Medieval history, archaeology, geology,NASA and space history, MMA.

But most of all I love my wife, my family and my cats (well they are a part of the family)

Hey, I'm doin' ok. How are you? I've only really thumbed through the later books in the Dune series and they're intriguing, but I still like the 1st book the best. I liked the sci-fi miniseries versions of Dune more than the movie version (David Lynch?). But I like the settings, costumes, and especially the main theme song from that version.
