So
today
i
finally
told
my
brother
(who
is
26,
8
years
older
than
me)
about
my
ocd.
He
just
laughed.
Then
said,
"I've
always
suspected
that
you
had
ocd
too."
What?
Apparently
he
has
ocd. That
came
as
a
surprise.
I
didn't
believe
him
at
first.
When
i
asked
him
what
his
obsessions
were,
one
was
the
same
as
mine,
hocd
(fear
of
being
a
homosexual).
He's
been
married
for
two
years
now.
He
had
hocd
in
high-school,
just
like
me.
What
relief
to
know
that
my
brother,
my
idol
since
i
was
little,
struggled
with
the
same
thing
i
did.
It's
even
more
comforting
to
know
that
he
overcame
that
particular
obsession
and
is
happily
married
and
on
pace
to
graduate
from
medical
school
in
a
month.
He
still
struggles
with
obsessions,
but
according
to
him
has
improved
100%
since
he
underwent
therapy.
What
a
great
source
too,
my
best
friend
and
role
model.
I
haven't
felt
this
good
in
months
