Rough first day at college

So
I
started
summer
classes
today
at
the
University
of
Kansas.
My
definition
of
college
has
changed
over
the
past
24
hours.
It
used
to
be
a
place
to
learn
have
fun,
and
meet
lots
of
new
people.
At
this
point
it
is
the
best
place
in
the
world

Today
I
almost
let
go
of
it.
I've
been
having
HOCD
obsessions
for
about
2 and
a
half
months
now.
But
as
soon
as
I
decided
that
i
wasn't
gay,
i
got
anxious
(ironically
enough)
because
i
had
nothing
to
worry
about
or
obsess
over.

So
today
i
finally
told
my
brother
(who
is
26,
8
years
older
than
me)
about
my
ocd.
He
just
laughed.
Then
said,
"I've
always
suspected
that
you
had
ocd
too."
What?
Apparently
he
has
ocd. That
came
as
a
surprise.

6:00
on
a
Saturday
night.
I'm
a
senior
in
high
school,
and
I'm
about
to
go
out
with
all
my
friends.
It's
ridiculous
though,
because
I
don't
feel
like
going
because
i
know
how
much
anxiety
I'm
going
to
be
going
