I have noticed several people in here who are either married or single in search of happiness with others. I personally believe you cannot luv someone else if you aren't in luv with yourself. you think you can find it in another person but that isnt true. until you find inner peace it wont matter how many men or women you try to luv because they can never solve your problem. my sister-in-law is a clear example. she left her ex for a guy she thought the world of and she is now more depressed. she thought having kids would give her joy but now she regrets having them. until you get straight with yourself nothing will change no matter who comes into your life.

First off to saying that your sister in law had kids and that did not give her any joy is sad.I have heard that kids give people a meaning and a purpose.A new outlook on life.So she just nust be really depressed. As far as loving yourself, did you read that in a book??

I was happier before marrying my husband thank you...we got married partly because I got pregnant and partly due to alot of pressure from his family for us to "do the right thing"...I had a better sense of self prior to my marriage. I have NEVER, EVER regretted having my kids. If anything they are my saving grace. Getting straight with myself happens to be getting out of a marriage that I am drowning. And BTW I was NOT looking to find another person. I was here simply to correspond with others who have OCD, people who can relate. I am housebound due to seizures so I don't get out very much as I can't drive...

I would be much happier if I wasn't with a man who points out my EVERY F#$king flaw but thank you for thinking you know everyone's situation.

people always think it is their spouses fault for their misery. when i was younger before i got married the last 5 girls always married the guy after me. i used to say my ex girlfriends were the problem. i look back now and see i actually was.
