Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

Lived with OCD all my life and I hate it. Luckily I have a loving wife that helps me, but she doesn't understand completely...no one can. I have a beautiful little girl and a baby boy on the way. OCD has robbed me of many good times with my family and friends. I pray to God to let me be "normal" but the answer I get is, you need to learn to deal with it...It all will be explained in the end...but that only helps briefly controll the loneliness and agony which is my OCD.

I gain strength from my wife and daughter. They are my rock... I also rely on the music I listen to, to give me strngth and power to face another day...good or bad.

I was able to struggle my way through college and I recieved a BS in 2D ( two-dimensional) design, with an emphasis on painting and graphic design. I am currently working as an Art director for a non-profit agency in utah. I love the people I work with...they are catching on that I am a little weird, but who isn't. I love my job, it gives me freedom to create and somewhat express myself. I am working on about 5 painting right now, but have yet to find time to work on them with all the duties of a husband and father, yard work...etc...
