By self administering Cognitive Bx Therapy, and forcing myself to do a lot of things I really DID NOT want to do, I have severely reduced my OCD symptoms. I'm not going to say that I don't still have things I'm working on, but serious inprovement has been made.
We can do this. We are stronger than we give ourselves credit for. We've dealt with the unbelievable, crushing anxiety, and survived it thus far. Not just anyone can do that. But we do, or have. If you're reading this.
There is hope. Bearing this unmeasurable weight has only made you stronger. If you've lived through this and survived... What other amazing things can you accomplish?
Someone is proud of you for making it this far. Who can you be proud of?
I'm currently struggling with my OCD. I've done well for a long tme, and it's nowhere near what it used to be, but I'm having issues. My girlfriend of now 3 years hasn't really experienced my struggling and is confused and lost in trying to help me. Advice would be appreciated :)
