Hi. I am a 42 year old married mother of three. I have everything I ever thought I wanted: a good husband, kids, live in a small town - and one thing I never planned on - living with OCD. I have suffered with OCD since my early twenties. I think I always had some OCD tendencies but my OCD really hit after my first child was born. My OCD mainly revolves around contamination fears and checking. I've tried some meds and a little behavioral therapy on my own and I can function enough to be a pretty good mom and work part-time but the OCD is always there and sometimes I feel like an actor in my own life. I have a renewed ambition to try to improve my quality of life and I started reading about OCD again but this is my first attempt to connect with others who also suffer from OCD. Feel free to visit my page anytime.

My husband, my three kids, any moment without OCD, playing in the dirt in my garden, my little shih tzu, all babies, being around water, sunny days, my quiet reading room

OCD, being cold, going to funeral homes, people who are determined to be negative

Hey, I'll gladly take all the blame for bringing your pinkness back to this place! I'm guessing that it's your oldest who's in seminary? My mother, to this day, dreams of me enrolling in one. Either that or a monastery (or would that be a nunnery?).

Anyway, how nice that your kids like each other! Are they all away or just the one at school?

Come back often, Sherri, and keep me posted on YOU. Keep warm too.

Hi, Sherri! Yes, the dumpling has been growing like an adorable weed. I still can't believe he was so tiny and now he's walking and talking nonstop. One of the things that he loves to do (drives his mama bonkers) is to open up cabinets and take everything out so he can stack stuff on top of each other, then say, "Tada!" We have no idea where he learned that trick from.

What have you been up to lately? So glad you stopped by again!

Hey, Sherri. I hope you had the most delightful Christmas. Yes! too long since I saw your smiley pink flower on my page. What a burst of fresh air you are.

Of course you have to keep your page around, so I can come harass you every so often. You have too much to offer, don't think otherwise, but I totally understand.

Oh, went out today and forgot the whipped cream again! Thought you might want to know this. Will miss you. Come visit anytime!
