Thanks for commenting on my post. :) It sounds like your family was supportive, even if they didn't fully understand. You know, it's interesting that you mentioned spreading awareness because when I described my symptoms to my dad, he didn't recognize them as OCD. Everyone thinks OCD just means hand washing and staying organized. I think part of confiding in people is explaining to them that this illness consists of so much more. Thanks for your support. :)

Hi, It's a cool, rainy Monday evening here. We might get snow flurries, if you can believe that! They won't amount to anything, but how awful after a beautiful weekend. What's new with you? How are your hands? Did your daughter get back from her trip? Talk about jet lag, she'll have a major case. Hope things are going well for you. Maryanne

I've been reading about your issue with the neighbors'dogs and I feel bad for you as well as the dogs. How awful to have to live with that and not be able to do anything. It's a shame the agency you called can't do more.

We had a neighbor who was a little too casual about the care of their dog, and I couldn't reach its bowl to add water, although I think I slipped my own bowl under the fence one day. Forunately, we were on reasonable terms with these people, so I finally said something sort of "in passing" and they seemed to get the message. I don't think the dog was ever all that happy, but at least it was fed and watered. I hope these neighbors of yours eventually come to their senses.
