Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

Hi! My names Laura, I live in the UK.

I've recently disscovered that I suffer from OCD. I always knew there was something wrong, but always thought it was just part of stress/depression.

I think I also have ADD.

I am really friendly and I love to laugh! I love music, especially singing and I'm learning to play guitar.

I'm trying to find a way of coping with OCD and I am trying to gain some self love so I can find a nice boyfriend! :)

My OCD gives me irrational thoughts, checking things (door & taps) I avoid doing certain things because it makes me feel uneasy and it give me low self esteem.

I've just bought a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy book so I am going to try and read that in my free time.

I'm going to study psychology in September.

I like a lot of bands, but my faves are; Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, Incubus, Finch & Something Corporate.

I'm reading a book called "you didn't hear it from us" which is written by 2 New York bartenders; they give advice on dating.

Shallow Hal, Pirates of the Carribean, Zoolander and more that I will add later.

Singing, Music, learning guitar and looking for more hobbies!
