Just trying to function and have a "normal" life although ocd makes this quite difficult. I find the obsessions to be so much harder to deal with than the compulsions, although both are bad.

i was wondering if anyone is tormented by violent thoughts? i am all the time, i don't want to get into too much detail but they are pretty terrible thoughts. and a HUGE problem of mine is that these thoughts tell me that i have done these terrible things and because i have such a poor sense of completed actions, meaning i always doubt what i have or haven't done, i start believing these thoughts and have trouble separating between reality and what's in my head. that's why i think the obsessions are worse than the compulsions. i also obsess a lot over having terrible illnesses.

As for compulsions does anyone ever obsess over shutting things off like the stove for example? many times i have to take pictures of things just so i have something visual to combat these thoughts.

all kinds of food, the yankees, museums, slapstick comedy, learning how to cook, concerts, the simpsons

heights, spiders, public speaking, needles, worrying about disease, being limited in the things i do because of anxiety/ocd

I've had to deal with violent obsessions many times. They are the most anxiety provoking in my opinion, at least for me. Hope you are well.

Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.
