Hey my name's Krista. I have had OCD for as long as I can remember. But it started to get really severe when I turned the sweet adolescent age of 13. Thats when my depression hit. At first I though I was crazy. Four years went by where I had no idea what was wrong with me, but finally after a breakdown, I found I had Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. I had only gone to therapy two times for my depression. But whatever anyone was going to tell me, I already knew.

I knew what they would tell me and more, so I dropped it. I decided to live with it. It's a living hell I made for myself and I continue to do it everyday of every hour of every second. Sadly, I have no intention of stopping any time soon....

You can check out my page and read a blog I created simply entitled "OCD"

Country music. Chick flicks. Cell phones. OCD. Trichotillomania. Fakes. When people say "We all have a little OCD in us."....bullsh*t!

Sometimes I can't be on here for a while which sucks since this is like my support group. But keep leaving me comments while I'm gone. I'd LOVE to get to know you! Thank you.

yeah thats very similar to what i went through too. i ended up just watching tv all the time and not doing anything or going anywhere. i didnt want anything to do with the outside world because the anxiety was just too much. fortunatley now im getting out more than i used to, and ive managed to get myself into a pub for 5 days on the trot which is getting easier each time i think. it certainly feels like a lot of the anxiety has been lifted off of me latley. :) but im still not back at university or going out and seeing my friends yet.

lol yeah thinking can be dangerous, but the clearing of the head is good :) when you had your breakdown, what happened afterwards? were you housebound for a while? was doing everything after that a real effort and made you incredibly anxious?

CONGRATS to you! Extremely well done. You have anything planned for afterwards? Must be nice to finally relax and take things easy! I am at my wit's end today. I think IE is having some serious problems. Anyway, be well! Smilies, elsie.
