According to the official PR blurb (sorry!)....

Jeff Bell is a nationally-known author, news anchor, and motivational speaker.

Since the publication of his OCD memoir, “Rewind, Replay, Repeat,” in early 2007, he has traveled extensively, lending his support to numerous mental health organizations, including the OC Foundation, for which he now serves as a National Spokesperson.

He is a 2007 recipient of Mental Health America’s prestigious forWARDS Award, for “moving the cause of mental health forward,” and is co-founder of the YourGreaterGood.com project, aiming to help motivate others with OCD to tackle the rigors of treatment.

Bell is a 20-year veteran of radio and television news and currently co-anchors afternoons at KCBS Radio, the CBS Network’s San Francisco flagship.

Welcome to the tribe Jeff! Like you, I'm an author and public speaker who has battled OCD most of my adult life. (But unlike you, I've never been brave enough to be "out" about it to the public.)

Congrats for your public advocacy and your role as an OCF spokesperson. It's people like you who will help remove the stigma a lot of us face. I've got to check out your book. Take care! -Rich

P.S. Oops, just checked your comments and saw that I already said hello a few weeks ago. Oh well, hello again! :)

Welcome to the Tribe, Jeff. I read your book in January. It is what inspired me to finally see a psychiatrist for my OCD instead of relying on my PCP. I am soooo glad I took that step because I am finally making progress in my battles against the OCD demon! Thanks for sharing your story. Sharon
