I
have
heard
so
much
about
loop
tapes
,
I
have
yet
to
actually
try
it
but
I
have
read
numerous
books
that
mention
it
and
they
all say
it
is
very
beneficial.
I
plan
on
trying
it
this
week
I
will
let
you
know
how
it
goes.
I
have
had
exposure
therapy
and
a
loop
tape
was
used.
It
does
work
very
well.
I
have
unfortunalty
switched
obsessions
to
a
"health
concern"
(
my
obsession
then
was
fear
of
hurting
someone
or
myself)so
I
may
have
to
go
back
and
do
another
round
of
therapy
for
it
(Heart
Failure). But
it
does
work.
My
therapist
recorded
his
voice
saying
my
worst
fears
as
if
i
were
actually
commiting
them,
it
was
very
hard
to
listen
too
for
the
first
few
days,
then
I
was
desensitized,
mission
complete.

but

question
is
this
who
wants
to
be
desensitized
to
thoughts
of
harming
someone
you
love?
then
those
thoughts
won't
bother
you.
you
don't
want
them
period
not
to
feed
them
though.

think

dangerous
for
this
type
of
ocd..
just

opinion
sorry.
I
get
urges
and
thoughts
like
my
arms
are
going
to
pick
up
a
knife
and
harm
someone
I
love.
and
then
my
mind
feels
like
it
is
out
of
control
happens
every
night
before
I
go
to
sleep.
I
am
on
meds
now
but
I
have
all
kinds
of
side
effects
from
them
but
they
have
helped
me
a
lot.
I
don't
think
I'd
still
be
here
if
I
didn't
take
the
meds.
Only
thing
that
worked
was
exspoure
thearpy
works
because
because
expousres
you
to
the
fear
to
the
point
you
get
used
to
it
and
the
phyisloigcal
reactions
gradually
go
down
from
them
.
