Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

im 53, a mother to three wonderful children, my eldest son suffers from o.c.d. the pure o form. He spends his days in an endless cycle of thinking hes the worst person in the world,when actually hes one of the nicest people.He is getting it under control now,by using a combination of meds,training,exercise,diet etc.He has just been referred for therapy,but how typical ,after getting a therapist fter a three year wait,she goes part time and is cutting her client base,one of whom is my son! How absolutely typical!I came on this site whe he was at his worst and have now updated my profile as his condition has improved to what it was.i have made fabulous friends and want to stay on the site as i find it helps me to cope.I work in a refuge for abused and homeless women,and love my job,but it can be intense and find this site a good way of unwinding believe it or not!
