thanks for the comment, always glad to see one from you. in fact I have visited your page and read comments not intended for me. hope you don't mind. I see this week you have mentioned members that left the tribe which you wanted to stay, as well as members that you wish would leave the tribe but are unable to tell them. I am highly qualified to advise you on how to tell them, and I offer my compact friendship list as my credentials. one bunny photo calls for another

It takes time my friend. It doesn't just happen in a day. It takes time, effort, patience and a lot of failures. Think of it a little like a child learning to walk.. they generally fall, stumble, get up, fall, tip over... some crawl a very long time before standing... some hold onto the coffee table forever before they stand on their own. One of the very best things you can do to help progress is to learn to be nice to yourself. See yourself as a second person, someone more precious to you than anyone on the planet. Someone who is trying their best but is struggling... someone who needs caring and patience. Treat yourself gently, with compassion for all the times you stumble or fall. Whatever form that takes... soothe yourself inside and be kind. No one can truly progress out of this while inside they bully themselves. Being hard on yourself feeds the OCD and robs you of your natural strength and internal wisdom. If you are naturally emotional and reactive that is ok. You are OK on a fundamental level. You have issues and struggles but the real you is totally ok. I am highly reactive overall, but I have trained myself to stop and look at things as best I can. Sometimes I fail, sometimes I go back to holding onto the coffee table if that makes sense. It is all ok. All people tend to have "rules" in their heads about how things should be but these are just our own perceptions. There are no rules of progress... just life. The harder you try to live "as you should" the more you suffer. Learn to befriend yourself and see all the "bad things" you believe are flaws as just parts of you as much as the good parts - neither is who you are, just a part. Work on seeing yourself as worthy of happiness and kindness first. The rest will come. You are doing more and better than you think. You are alive so there is more right than wrong with you! You come here and you seek out answers or avenues in other ways too... you keep trying, despite the pressure inside not to. Be proud of that. You can do it because you ARE doing it. Ty for the comment.

sometimes we don't need to know why.. if it helps, it helps. It could be that I try to remain hopeful or maybe that there are people who do well so it is more possible to do well yourself... or maybe it resonates and you feel heard or something. Either way, as my therapist says, if it isn't harmful and it helps you, go for it. Thanks for the nice comment.

Hi, Yep, I'm almost done with Black Tuesday. Just laundry and ironing to do now.

You'll probably really enjoy Lincoln. We saw it at the movie and both of us really enjoyed it. Abraham Lincoln is my all time hero.

I think I don't want to go see my therapist tomorrow. I'm down in the dumps and I really don't want to talk about it. Sometimes it's better to just let things be until they are better on their own. At least that's what I've always thought.

Glad your garden is full! We got the last of our flowers planted today. I've got heaps of flowers and Phillip has his tomato plants.

Now, I'm not going to get all "mushy" or anything, but I think you are one of the kindest people I've ever run into. You are truly one of a kind! I just had to say that, now I'll go watch some TV until my laundry finishes drying!

Hope you enjoy Lincoln. Maryanne

Hey Maryanne, Hope you got through your cleaning day without too much stress. Just dropping by to say howdy. I am going to watch the movie Lincoln tonight, so that should be good.

Hi, Today is a day I call "Black Tuesday". I have to give the bathroom a good scrubbing (in between daily cleanings) and it grosses me out. It's an OCD thing I just can't seem to shake. My husband is usually gone in the afternoon on Tuesdays, so I'm left all alone with "the room". I'm more reluctant than usual to go do it today. I'll pull it off. I always do.

I listen to music while I clean and that helps. Okay, I'm off to "face the music". Hope you're having a good day. Maryanne

Hey Mary,

Anything interesting going on with you? Did you get your scooter yet? I have been trying to get my yard work done since the weather is finally cooperating. Had a big black bear in my yard the other morning. Quite a sight to see out your window! Hope you are enjoying your day.

Well I see that neither one of is willing to back down on the challenge so let's call it a draw. How about a game of Ker Plunk? Let's see who loses their marbles first...Jana or Nanamonster...

Hi Maryanne,

Hope you are having a good day today.
At the moment I find myself without a pet. My last dog was a pug named Puggy (my son named him) and we also had a guinea pig. I had parakeets for many years too. So right now I am enjoying not having the responsibility of taking care of a pet. But I do hope to have a dog again in the future. There is nothing greater than the unconditional love of a dog. I hope your puppy calms down soon for you. lol.
