hi everlastingocd, i just read your messages...welcome!!! and thanks for the prompt reply to my concern. i do know what i am going through is nothing but ocd. thank you for reassuring me.the thing is it is so painful what i feel. i tried different meds no success so far.i really don't know what to do.i am so hopeless. thanks, keep in touch

Hi Kelly,you sound like you are able to deal with OCD very well. How do you do it? I don't know how severe your OCD is but I wonder how people with OCD set goals and work to achieve them.

You are very welcome. Thats why I'm here,to support people and to get support. Thats what real friends are for. I wish that everyone with OCD lived in town so we could all relate to each other and not feel out of place. I think that would be amazing. Imagine what that would be like. We would all be so much alike and would support and understand one another. I think it would be the greatest town in the world to live in.

Thank you for your comment. I'm feeling beat up today. But I look at it like a boxer, and I don't watch boxing but a boxer gets in the ring and takes a beating whether he wins or loses. If he loses he recovers and gets back in the ring because he's a fighter and never quits. If he wins he still feels beat up but feels great winning the fight. I beat OCD a few rounds yesterday and OCD won a few rounds.
