Where do I begin...i am an honest, full of life (generally)Italian - Chicago gal! I have a great personality and enjoy people....I currently am struggling with OCD - the intrusive thoughts, anxiety , panic and depression due to the OCD challenge going on inside my brain, ok, yes, i do claim it as my brain, because my brain itself is healthy and functioning although I am battling agressive thoughts! Argh....Hoping to become finally free from this disorder......The WAR IS RAGING INSIDE! OCD - YOU DON"T OWN ME!

Patty, I've been off the site for a while and didn't see your message on my page. How have you been? I could be better, but I'm hanging in there. Eric

Hi there!~ I am off my medicine. It kinda of happened on accident. The first semester of school I woke up at different times and ate at different time so it messed up the time I took them. After a while I stopped taking them all together. I tried getting back on a few times but every time I did it made me sick. That is when I noticed that I wasn't having trouble with my ocd. And when I did notice it I stopped to think about it instead of mindlessly giving into the compulsions. And I do feel fine without them...still. I have had a lot of different cocktails but, most recently I was taking Luvox, Concerta, and then for a while my doctor had me on geodon. But I normally didn't take that one because it freaked me out(too many weird side effects). I'm not sure if it was the routine change that helped the ocd or if it was another reason. I can't really say that I was ever afraid to leave or drive. I always hated leaving because I knew what I had to deal with once I did. I was really depressed about back in 2004 or 5 and I didn't leave but I managed to get back on track from that too. I think what helped me get out of the depression was a med change. Can I ask what you are taking? And how long this has been with you?
