I am a freshman in college, recently diagnosed with OCD. I go to big school (with about 18,000 undergrads). I absolutely love it, even though sometimes I doubt whether I made the right decision. I am working on getting a BS in Psychology, and I'm double minoring in Biology and Cognitive Science. There are so many great opportunities and activities out there, but having OCD is definitely limiting me in what I can do. I have a very hard time accepting anything less than perfect (mostly grade-wise), and I find myself becoming very frustrated when I don't do well in school (except what I consider to be doing well is definitely not the same as most other people). Because of this, I work myself to the point of exhaustion. I am struggling to find the balance between work and fun, but I'm very hopeful that I can turn things around.
