Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

I have been suffering with OCD most my life, didn't really have any idea what it was until my mid twenties when I got really sick. That was when the worst of it started. I am more obsessive then compulsive. Getting "stuck" on thoughts. Usually things that most people would never understand. What makes you start to think that there are chemicals in the air? Or that you have to wash your hands again and again because they don't feel clean. I am currently taking Celexa for it. I also have anxiety and depression but I am positive that my OCD is what triggers most of that.
Aside from the Ocd I appear happy to most of the world. I work for an airline, and love to travel. I am into Astrology so if you know anything about that I am an Aries Sun Scorpio Rising and Cancer Moon sign.
I am friendly, funny and entertaining. And then I can also be a turtle where I want to stay in my house and never leave. Don't answer calls from friends and just kind of fall into a bad place.
I want to be better. Every day is either a step forward or a step back...but its a step either way. Just don't step on the crack :)

I can't tell you how excited I am to find this site! I am looking forward to meeting others with OCD. I've always found it helpful to speak with others who know what you are going through.
So my likes...I am artistic, love to write, read. I make gemstones jewelry. I love animals and currently feed the entire feral cat community on my street. :) I love the Ocean, nature and calm settings. I also love music!

I do astrology charts for fun. Make jewelry. Go to concerts. And try to travel as often as possible as I fly for free. ( i work for an airline) :)
