Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

                 

Mother of two wonderful daughters.  I'm slightly OCD but managed with a little blue pill.  My oldest daughter, Nicole (21) is majoring in psychology and wants to be a school psychologist. Nicole is easy going and has been a wonderful child to parent. My youngest daughter, Danielle (17) has severe OCD and is not easy going. Danielle is beautiful, athletic, and a torture to live with. She is the reason I found this site because I'm looking for support.  I work in education helping behaviorally challenged children aka a Behavior Specialist;  however, I don't feel that I'm a specialist on anyone's behavior.....I'm just a mom to everyone!  I have a finicky cat named Pinkerton, he thinks he rules the house.  I adopted two corgidors (lab and corgi mix) last year and they are the best dogs that I ever had.  I can be outgoing but there are times I like to be quiet.....that might be due to being an only child.  Even though I'm getting "older"  I don't feel like I've grown up yet!!!  Anyway, age is what you make it, right?!  Last but not least, I'm married to my high school sweetheart who is so understanding considering things can get pretty crazy with two people suffering from OCD living under the same roof!

Harry Potter books, Twilight series, Stephanie Plum series. Just recently read Nora Roberts Chesapeake Series....I live near her so I thought I would try her books. Good books but I prefer a little more action and mystery.

All Harry Potter films, most anything with Adam Sandler and Johnny Depp. Ocassionally scary movies. Except the Saw series.....too graphic!

Willing to try anything new except skydiving (fear of falling).
Scrapbooking, reading, walking my dogs and obviously playing on the computer.
