I have had OCD for about 20 years. It has evolved over the years, mainly as contamination fears which tend to get worse when I'm stressed.

Just wanted to offer a quick "hello". I am fairly new here, and to be honest, I am still trying to complete my page and learn to effectively navigate all of the features. I absolutely agree with you, that the symptoms of OCD aggravate significantly when stress levels are increased. For me, it seems as though fuel is being poured onto an already burning fire, as the stress and anxiety increase. Thank you, for reading these words, and have a great week ahead.

also, I currentlly see a therapist for my ocd. He gives me some tips on how todeal with some of my rituals and bad thoughts. I feel like I get some benifit from it. But as you know with ocd, its a constant battle!!!!

Hi, Thanks for the reply, Well, I could go on all damn night about my ocd, but I'll tell ya some of the main stuff I struggle with. I have a really tuff time sometimes with taking showers and washing. I get alot of anxiety from showers. also,I have some counting rituals when showering. Lately, I've been obsessing about my health, thinking that I have something wrong with me. It just never ends!!
