I just want to say I have been having some good days.  I have been working and getting along relatively well with people the last few days.  It is so nice to breathe when these moments of sanity come and I keep sending out positive messages to myself and the world that it can be this way more often than not.  It is at times like this that I look at myself and say "you know, when you are having difficulty it really is the OCD and you just need to keep telling yourslef that!"

Does anyone think that the phase of the moon has anything to do with how your OCD is?  I have come to the conclusion that when the moon is full or new, and especially when that is correlated with the week before my menstral cycle, that is when I am having the most difficulty.  When the moon is in between new and full is usually my most positive time for some reason.  Well we are made of water and the moon affects the tides so why would it not affect us?

You know, that is interesting.because I have often wondered this myself -but thought it was just 'all in my head'er, just something I came up with, lol. So I never really checked into any info regarding this.Maybe we should. It does seem very possible.I struggle with BPD as well as OCD and the cycling and my monthly cycle always seemed to coincide with lunar phases..but I never put much effort in to studying how it all came together.Does tha make any sense?..lol...Anyways,I'm glad you brought it up..atleast  I  know that I'm not alone in my thinking something like this!

I would be interested to learn more on this.

i dont know.  i know women's bodies move in lunar cycles naturally - maybe you find that just because the stress of the hormonal changes agitates the ocd, any kind of big stress agitates it for me.  maybe you'd have to compare women's responses to this to men's responses.
