The Rabbi Responded Today

I received an e-mail from the Rabbi informing me that I hadn't been forgotten. I was asked what I would say, without saying too much, if I was allowed to come back. I was having personal and family issues is the response I've decided on because that's true.

I further responded that while I'd like to be able to see my friends, participate in certain inter-congregational holidays, and the like, I'd decide that I'm more personally and theologically in line with the other temple-which is also true.

My hope is that the rabbi lets logic prevail and decides to respect my privacy and decision and that I can be a full member of the community.
