Ugh- why does it HAVE to be That time of month again? The second I think I got my ocd calmer it goes the other way around, makin it worse. Here I am wondering why am I having all these sad scenes in my head all because what I ended up searching for last night involved some scene where Johnny dies at the end of a movie (just my luck, I watched the movie in May and I still remember most of the movie extremely well).

So I turned off my laptop- around the usual time, say 3:30 or so, but then it takes me 2 hours Just to fall asleep, then I wake up 3 hrs later, go back to sleep then wake up Again an hour later. Can I ever have 6-8 hrs of Uninteruppeted sleep one of these days? That and I'd like to go to Los Angeles because they have 72d F temps when out here in Jersey we got a whopping 26d as a high! or LOWER!!! (LOL)

If you're not sleeping because you're obsessing, then the first thing to do is to blank your mind at bedtime or think of other things. You have to make yourself do this. Also if you wake up during the night and need to go back to sleep. Poor sleep may make the OCD worse. Really work on not obsessing at bedtime, if that's the problem.

you should talk to your psychiatrist about your sleeping pattern. I was like that, too. I took medicine and I could sleep long but when I don't, I don't sleep for 3 days, maybe just 2hrs of sleep a day. Good luck to you.
