congratulations on the baby my baby boy just turned 1 so he isnt really a baby anymore its so sad but excited about the next stage talk soon i hope.

Hi Becky. I am sorry you have been having a rough time. My youngest is 10 and I still remember vividly how difficult it was to get through all of my pregnancies. You are so smart (and lucky) to have found a therapist who specializes in ocd. I hope your appointment with the psychiatrist Sat. goes well. You are doing everything you can to help yourself - while I was in total denial during my first pregnancy. The best thing you can do for your baby boy is take care of his mommy! I know it seems hopeless sometimes but hang in there Becky. It will get better when your hormones settle back down and you may want to go on meds - even for just a little while. But I promise you it really will get better! By the way, have you come up with any potential names for your baby yet? Let me know how it goes with your doctor Sat. - if you have a chance. I totally understand. My hubby was deployed Apr. 05 and the I discovered I was pregnant 2 weeks later. Talk about OCD going haywire. I spent the next 3 years (just getting out of it) in the worst ocd mess. It sucks because your hormones are going nutty. Just holler at me. I so understand what you're going thru.
