Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

Well, in terms of the basic stuff I think the other sections about cover it. The only part left out I guess is that I'm nearly 18, freshly graduated from high school, and starting at a community college next fall. I hope to transfer to a film school and become a director someday.

And since this is an OCD oriented website... I went to a doctor for general anxiety symptoms and a few compulsions about a year ago, was on meds and in therapy, and after a month or two my mom decided that I was "making it up as an excuse to avoid having to deal with life" and I've recieved no medical attention for psychiatric issues since. The general anxiety stuff rarely bothers me during the day anymore, only at night, but compulsions have took over. And I don't know how I can help myself if nobody takes me seriously.

I joined this site to meet other people like myself, so I won't have to feel like I'm alone on the whole thing. And to make new friends. :)

My favorite musicians are Twisted Sister and Elvis Presley. I also like Guns n Roses, Bon Jovi, Dee Snider's Van Helsing's Curse, Widowmaker, Alice Cooper, Quiet Riot, Aerosmith, Queen, AC/DC, Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne, Whitesnake, Def Leppard, Judas Priest, Dio, KISS, Goo Goo Dolls, Triumph, Van Halen, Skid Row, Beatles, Mark Wood, movie soundracks--especially instrumentals as well as a LOT of others.

I'm currently reading Treasure Island, and I like it a lot. I've got Dune, The Godfather, and HP7 to look forward to. My favorite books are Artemis Fowl, Harry Potter, and Lord of the Rings. I also like Series of Unfortunate Events, His Dark Materials, Chronicles of Narnia, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, To Kill A Mockingbird, The Great Gatsby, and more. I love to read. :)

Edward Scissorhands, Lord of the Rings, Batman Begins, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Cutting Edge, The Prestige, The Departed, Newsies, Secret Window, Viva Las Vegas, Jailhouse Rock, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, This is Spinal Tap, Pee Wee's Big Adventure, Nightmare before Christmas among MANY others. Johnny Depp is pretty much my favorite ever. :) And Kate Winslet is glorious so I will see anything with her in it.

I am on the internet 24/7.. literally.. I never sign off. I love to manage websites and forums. My most current project is a Harry Potter Roleplay forum (www.z4.invisionfree.com/potter_rp if anyone is interested!). I LOVE to watch red wings hockey. Movies are my passion and I hope to go into filmmaking someday. Reading is pretty damn cool. And my favorite thing to do ever is go on random adventures. I love to see things I've never seen and do things I've never done.
