I am currently starting my first year as a 6th grade Language Arts teacher (wish me luck!) I was an ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher, which I really love, for the past 3 years.

I like an array of music, depending on my mood. My favorite artists include Tracy Chapman,Melissa Etheridge, Janis Joplin, The Eagles, Tom Petty and Elton John, among others. Lately I've been listening to the Christian music station in the morning. I never thought I would be a fan, but it is uplifting and helps me begin my day with a
focused perspective, which can be comforting.
BOOKS
I love the books: Wherever You Go, There You Are; Mindful Meditations for Everyday, Tristan et Iseult, Le Petit Princc, Tuesdays with Morrie, River Jordan...
MOVIES
The following movies are among my favorite: Bridget Jones's Diary, Office Space, Le Pont Neuf, Sixteen Candles, and any good horror flick.
