Hi, my name is Melissa. I am seventeen and a junior in high school. Although I am social, I usually have hard time fitting in, because I'm different. I don't relate well to other high school students. I think I've had OCD my whole life, just in many different forms. For me, my worst habit is by far handwashing. My hands look like they have a bad sunburn on them. lol. Most of the time they hurt too. I'm also plagued day and night by anxious, disturbing thoughts.I'm also a counter, a hoarder, a germfreak, a checker, ....and etc. Things would be a lot better if I didn't have OCD. Things always have to be my way. When they're not, I get quite nervous and irritable. I unintentionally snap at people often. As for friends, I don't really care enough to listen to their problems, I have enough of my own. Plus theirs are really different from mine.My nickname is "Spikey", because one retarded therapist said I'm like a Spikey ball, I hurt others and myself. She's nuts. Anyway, I have plenty of good traits too. I'm fun and different. If I trust you, then I can be a very good friend. I want to be a film director. When I dream, my dreams usually look a lot like movies. I remember them shot for shot. I love learning new things, if I'm interested. I never lie, because, well....I can't. I love my parents. I tell my mom everything, and I enjoy having intellectual conversations with my dad. He's so smart. I'm usually pretty blunt which is both a good and a bad thing. I'm a dancer! My favorite color is purple! I love talking and singing! This is getting long, so I'll stop. Sorry!
