Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

I'm a native Michigander, have lived in Texas since 1980. My OCD started when I was in my 20's. Most of my obsessions have to do with contamination, either germs or chemicals. I'm here to learn from other people's experiences, as well as to give advice where I think I can.

Beagles, Corgis, Westies, Red Wings hockey, Tigers baseball, MSU Spartans!

Germs. Just germs. Oh, and roadkill. Germs and roadkill, that's all. Hmmm, I'd better add trash. Ok, thats definitely it, just germs, roadkill and trash. Ooh, did I mention blood, or pesticides, or asbestos,...?

Folk, Bluegrass, classic Jazz, Blues, R&B, Classic Motown, Standards, Big Band, some Classical, a little bit of everything, really. Favorites include Van Morrison, John Prine, Emmylou Harris, early Steely Dan, Ricki Lee Jones, early Dylan, Beatles, Stan Getz, Dave Brubeck, Nickel Creek, Pink Martini, Jimmy Buffet, Grateful Dead, Leo Kottke, Lyle Lovett, Jorma Kaukonen, Old and In the Way.
