Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

I’ve struggled with OCD (and depression) since age 10. Thus far I’ve survived, although it hasn’t been easy. It’s hard to live with something that can weigh so heavily on your very being—something that just tries to steal the life out of you. I keep busy with work, I exercise, and I interact with friends and family on a regular basis, but still there are moments when I feel absolutely haunted by the ghosts inside my brain. Although I have friends who wrestle with anxiety and depression, none of them have OCD. It can be such a solitary experience. So I’ve come here, to pull up a chair, and sit at the Bar of Tortured Souls.
