[ ADD ME ]

Hi, I'm 19 years old and male, and I live in the north west of England. I was diagnosed with OCD back in October. Prior to this I had thought that something was wrong but couldnt quite work out what. The main problems I have are when around people I get intrusive thoughts and urges of danger and violence which make me feel anxious. I also get intrusive thoughts doing every day normal things, which stops me from being able to function properly. I'm on 2 mg respidal twice daily, and I'm cutting out the rescue pastils as requested by my psychologist. I want to get better as soon as I can, I'm sick of having to watch reruns of Scrubs to entertain myself every day :P

If any of you fancy having a chat any time feel free to add me. I would also talk from time to time on the OCD Tribe instant messenger. I look forward to hearing from you.

Going for walks, shopping for clothes (not always a womans problem ;), going out with friends, having a drink then going to the chippy afterwards (traditional young man i am :P)

I seem to have developed a few dislikes since I was diagnosed with OCD. I dont like queues very much, or waiting around for things. I have developed an impatience which I hope will fade as I improve in my condition. I also dont like people being loud, or busy places full of people. This again may be due to the OCD because I never noticed myself not liking these things before.

Your Depression Level: 36%

You may be depressed.

While you can be moody, your moods generally fall within the range of normal.

It's up to you to decide if you're depressed... or if you're simply having a bad week.

Your Social Anxiety Level: 32%

You have low social anxiety.

Of course very unfamiliar or strange situations make you uncomfortable.

But you can pull through and handle almost any social occasion with grace.

I am doing good. Thank you. How were your holidays? I like OCD Tribe too. I am not on much because I have computer trouble, but when I am on, OCD Tribe is usually the first place I go to. Have you tried out their games? I have tried out a couple of them. They are pretty fun. There is a lot to do here. The daydreaming helps me too. I have a lot of fun with it.

I'm doing better. I think my Lamictal just might be kicking in. I don't know whether it's a relief or depressing that I might be bi-polar.

Anyways, I had a nice Christmas and New Year. I got to see my sister and brother-in-law.
