[ ADD ME ]

Hello, I am just one more to add to the millions that deal with obsessive compulsive disorders. I once enjoyed many things, but this condition limited any such hobbies, or social activities. I am self-diagnosed, yet seeking a therapist, however it is difficult for me to share how I truly feel and how my ocd really affects myself and everyone around me. I am tryin to remain positive and I am pushing myself to conquer over ocd. I am really trying to reach out to others, however I am always limiting what contact I do have.

I am very open minded and very ecclectic, so don't be afraid to drop in, and send me a message or say hi. It would make my day. :)

Dancing, Writing, Gemstones, Nature, When I used to go to school, anthropology, archaeology, culture, open-mindedness, random delusional reality, Kitty Cats, Vampires, Being THE wallflower. :/ Trying to figure out what my likes and hobbies really are! And, family guy.

RedefiningLife quote,
"...so long as you didn't do whatever you did with an intent to harm someone, then you likely made the best decision at the time based on the information you had, because hindsight is always 20/20, but there were stresses and influences at the time that made you make that decision and all you can do now is accept it and forgive yourself for it."
A quote from user, RedefiningLife on post "Guilt OCD" (in forum) in reply to Atlas1988 :)

OCD in all of its irrational aspects from feeling guilty, exposure to needless cleanliness, severe separation/attachment issues, irrational fears, and the misunderstood notion to drive away everyone who you ever loved because YOU love them. Um, I guess they are agressive thoughts.

And superficial-ness.

Thanks for the comment, I did call a therapist, but I kind of cheated. I called on Friday evening when I knew there would be nobody there and have had a whole weekend to get over the stress of calling, now I just wait for them to call me back. maybe that's something that could work for you?

Fear is a feeling that is more stronger than love.

Fun. Jukebox the Ghost, Grouplove, Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, AFI, Pink Floyd, Siversun Pickups, Of Monsters and Men, Imagine Dragons, Two Door Cinema, Black Keys, Dirty Heads, Alkaline Trio, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Shiny Toy Guns, Styx, Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Violent Femmes, TSOL, Gotye, Young the Giant, The Cure, Neon Trees, MGMT, DEV, Bob Dylan, Bright Eyes and an ecclectic bunch. Seriously, you name it. Funny thing is, if you ask me; I rarely will listen to music because it triggers intrusive/aggressive thoughts- same with movies, tv, books, practically anything. :/

The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Catch 22, The Primal Screamer, Days of Love, Nights of War, Lord of the Flies, and Karen Moning's, Fever series. Urban fantasy, and text books. Oh yeah, and x-men.

Waking Life, Across the Universe, The Wall, Smiley Face, Walk Hard, DISNEY movies- but only if they're funny, Pineapple Express, Grandma's Boy, 21 Jumpstreet, Super Troopers, Pineapple Express, Mall Cop, and The Zookeeper. Anything with Will Ferrell, Kevin James, Anna Faris, or John C. Reilly

Arts and Crafts, Antiques, Music, Reading, Poetry, Raising cats, Putting COMEDY into my life. Obsessing .... over things; I mean research. ;D
