I assume the things I like will pretty much show more about me than my attempted evaluation ...

Music, Drawing, Galleries, Breakfast in bed, Coffee, Photography, Cooking, Vintage Shopping, Sleep, Raspberry Juice, Noodle Bars, Gore/Horror, New York, Traveling, Long Bus Trips, Illustration, The feeling when you win a Board Game, Reading, Long Phone Calls, People who Challenge me, Tattoos, Piercings, Dapper Gentlemen, Kirsten LePore, Animation, Waking up without a Hangover, Skin Heads & Punks, Mods, History, Antiques, London.

My Ocd.... Quick sum up I guess.. I've had it since I was 9 when my mum was in a really bad car accident and in hospital for a long time, Since then, I've spent the last 12 years repeating , counting & pretty much wasting valuable time of my life.

I was struggling a little last week but thankfully for one reason or another my mood has lifted considerably in the last few days. :-) I had a slight increase in my meds so that must have something to do with it and the recent sunny weather has helped too. It's just so great to get back to doing fun things and enjoying myself rather than being consumed by annoying OCD thoughts all of the time. :-)

Sorry to read that you've been going through a rough time of it lately with the horrible mind-f@ckery that is OCD. :-( I can totally relate to the awfulness of it all. It always tends to be at it's worst for me too when I'm under a lot of real world stress. Is there anything that helps you at all during particularly difficult periods of suffering with OCD?

When I'm suffering through a nasty time of it OCD-wise nobody notices my silent suffering either. As I have Pure O and most of my OCD is internalised there isn't much of a sign as to how well I'm doing at all beyond perhaps being a bit withdrawn and prone to depression.

Thanks for commenting on my taste in music by the way, you have excellent taste in music too, as well as awesome taste in movies.

Are your friends and family understanding about your OCD?

Thankyou! I only signed up for this and have never openly spoke to people (out of a doctors office) about OCD, so this is all new to me.
