Well, my name is Russell. I'm 27 years old. I live in Utah, in the United States of America. Two setbacks in my life are OCD and depression, what a bummer it has been. My OCD started when I was 19, so my life has completely changed, I want my life back how I was before my OCD started. So I'm just working on livin life. Good luck to you all. I love this website, what a helpful place. I'm so sorry about all of your problems, but it is comforting to know that there are some other people dealing with some of the same things I have to deal with. It is so easy to feel all alone - like does anyone else have OCD? Thanks for visiting.

Family; Friends; Religion; my family's two dogs; Anything that gets rid of OCD; Sports - mainly NCAA College Football, the NFL, and the NBA; X-Box 360 and Playstation 3; Sleep; Food; Ice Cream; Eating out; working; movies; and good days.

Hey! I realized that I never responded to your message that you sent a while ago!! I don't get on this site too much anymore, but when I wasn't doing very well with my OCD this site worked wonders!

I graduated from school in 2010, with a Bachelor Degrees in Biology and Technical Writing, so I guess yeah two Bachelor degrees but just from the same school. It was very exciting. Since then, I've been working in the biotech industry doing genetic testing for people to diagnose genetic disorders. I'll be going to Grad School in the Fall, but I'm not sure where yet, I'm still waiting to hear back from a couple schools!

So yeah, I love A Beautiful Mind too! And looking at your movies, I also love 500 Days of Summer--two of my favorite movies ever! I also love watching movies and when my OCD was at its worst I must say I watched multiple movies a day to escape the disorder.

I'm much better now though, and I've learned to ignore the thoughts for the most part, so that's good. How have you been lately? I hope that things are only getting better for you with this disease!

What do you do for work and for fun? Also the puppy in your picture is adorable! :)

Andrea
