Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

Well, I'm a mom, nana, and teacher who works with preschoolers. My mom has Alzheimer's, which has brought me to my lowest point, but I've finally accepted her prognosis. She's doing ok, in spite of that horrible illness. I'm also a member of Depressiontribe...I've struggled with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and OCD for numerous years. I'm also a survivor of rape, and domestic violence. I've had therapy for all these issues, except OCD. Maybe it's because I feel a stigma attached to it, somehow. But here I am, and no more shame. I'm looking forward to meeting others who can relate...been feeling so frustrated about the whole thing.

Family, Friends, Laughter, Teaching, Joking around, Helping others, Advocating for those without a voice, Music, Dancing, Living near the ocean, Nature, Discovering new interests, and lots more.

Don't get me started! LOL People who lack common courtesy, rudeness, arrogance, all kinds of abuse, especially towards children, the elderly, and animals. It amazes me how often people don't say "Please," and "Thank you."
