Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

I am mainly a Pure-O, but have OCD that is ever-evolving. From traditional symptoms (checking, counting etc.) to OCD manifestations (phobias, etc.) I Like meeting new people and sharing stories. TALK TO ME, if you please..

From big-city dweller to big-time beach lover. Were I forced to describe myself in one word, it'd be "hopeless". I am 'Hopeless Romantic'. I am a 'Hopeless Idealist', while keeping my post as a 'Hopeless Realist'. I see the potential in this world, while realizing its inevitable evils. I aspire to do everything, but am content at doing a little. As long as it is a little more than the man before me. I am belligerent when the time calls, but I prefer to pacify if the time allows. I LOVE to LOVE and HATE to HATE.

Laying on the Gulf of Mexico, kayaking and participating in other outdoor recreation/leisure...Listening to my music... traveling!...(all pending that I am not being agoraphobic) :( Also reading or watching a quality movie

Disabling Fears; Thinking Numerically, Agoraphobia, Hypochondriasis, Toxic Cleaning Products, Anything that's not packaged to perfection...Losing friends as a result of my OCD :(

Under-financed Community Mental Health Organizations and poor mental health recourses for those with Medicaid. (more of frustrations than a dislikes) Yeah, I am calling out the state of Florida! ;)

As much as I like to get out of the house, I also enjoy living vicariously through the over-exploited art of cinema. A vice maybe, but a hell of a good time. A few of my current favorites would include Bella, 13 Conversations About One Thing, Once, Rocket Science, Motorcycle Diaries, I am Sam, Crash, The Pianist, Amelie, In America, Raising Victor Vargas, etc.
