Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

I have had OCD for years but only diagnosed last year. Now taking meds and having therapy. My husband and son and my pets are the world to me. My husband is my rock who keeps me going. I thank God we met. My Knight in shining armour.
I have also been diagnosed with depression, general anxiety disorder and social phobia and and very low self esteem. I think people see me as abit of a freak. I find life pretty stressful and hard to cope. I worry constantly over nothing. I cannot talk to anyone without thinking I have said something to upset them or said something wrong. I have intrusive thoughts regarding the washing machine and my aga and my cats getting in. I don't think I'm good enough for my husband and I am always neagtive on our relationship lasting which adds pressure. My husband treats me like a princess and loves me for me so why I think like I do I have no idea. My son is nearly 14 and has the dreaded ocd too. I am a checker, tapper and have some strange rituals of drinking out of certain mugs, hoarding airfreshner and shoes over 90 pairs and I only wear 3 pairs. I normally buy shoes every month from 1- 5 pairs. I have really bad thoughts/nightmares while asleep and these stay with me the full day after. I just wish for someone like me who has the most wonderful life with the most wonderful husband and son in the world that I could get rid of the ocd and all the accompliments which go with it and live a happy positive life.
