I am a dance instructor, qualified Chef, a volunteer at a nursing home, a volunteer at the local primary school and studying to be a Primary school teacher (1 year to go YAY!)
I have had OCD all of my life and although I got frustrated, I didn't really care. I only just got diagnosed in 2007 and my world crashed. My motto use to be "I have OCD, but OCD doesn't have me". But, now I'm not so sure.
I don't have the support of my family. Firstly because I haven't told them, but also because they don't really believe in mental illness. I look to my handy dandy internet to find out what the next step is.
Since I have found OCDtribe, I can already see the light. I have already made friends which makes me excited.
I try to be a good person, but it rarely works. I usually get hurt and as a result I hide away.
I'll try my best to surround myself in good people on here and hope that everything will change for the better.
Hales :-)

When people notice me.
When I get a say.
Every season of the year, each one has a great quality.
Dancing, Cooking, studying, teaching...

Being pushed away and unnoticed, OCD, people that use me, being sick.
