I have a mild checking ocd that spikes when im under stress. Involves checking doors, windows, powerpoints, electrical/gas devices and so on.

Im currently in between college and university. I volunteer for various charities and am currently a big brother for foster children and volunteer at a hostel for homeless young people.

Im currently single and not liking it very much to be honest. My days are full, my evenings social and fun, just not having a special someone to share it with is a bit of a downer. But...University soon (I hope) so a new friend base and new experiences so we shall see.

Im an Agnostic in that I have faith in something divine and that there is more to us than what science can explain, but I have no idea what form that would take and im very sceptical that any single religion could possibly truly conceive the complexity and vast intellect of any creator, let alone define a structure around it with rules and moral standards. I have a great deal of respect for men and women of faith who are willing to debate it with others of similar passion.

Volunteering. Closeness. Camaraderie. The rain. Music. Friends. Family. Standing on the edge of the estuary where I live and looking into a rolling storm sky spilling over its own clouds on the brink of release and feeling the majesty of nature before my eyes. Looking into the stars on a clear glass night and feeling utterly utterly insignificant. Sand between my toes. The flash of significance you attribute to an accidental touch from someone you wish was yours. Defying expectations. How a girl becomes more pretty the more you like her. The sea. And so on….

Ignorance. Inability to compromise. Violence. People who do nothing but reinforce a negative stereotype. Being alone. Having to check my house 20 times before I can leave it can be a pain.
